The Friendly Islands

Our plan is very simple. Key in on the fact that the United States Peace Corps has been in Tonga since 1967. That we have been allies with Native Americans long before colonial occupation. That our lineage of chiefs, warriors, priests, servants of the people has existed long before the recognition of the King of Tonga as warriors who put the King in power today. We do not have a seat at the table as was promised to us long ago, & our nation settles for selling passports & foreign debt entrapment schemes. Our plan mitigates these risks and utilizes our strong familial network in and outside of Tonga to effectuate long lasting benefits to the people of Tonga here in the USA, in Tonga and elsewhere. It includes plans to help Tongans flourish where they are, especially in America, thereby blessing the neighborhooods we reside in. We have a covenant between us and the Lord as Christians to be a sent nation, and we believe that an effort has to be made to correct our course as a country. To be United Under God and work towards the common good. To protect the Kingdom of Tonga’s sovereignty and to ensure that Tongans thrive no matter where they are. We believe that it is our duty to speak up for our fellow island brother and sisters in all nations of the Pacific. As instructed to us by our forefathers and foremothers.
